This Halloween, Bunnings is inviting families across New Zealand to enjoy a safe, inclusive and delightfully spooky evening at their local Bunnings. On Thursday 30 October from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, stores nationwide will come alive with free Halloween festivities, including DIY workshops, face-painting and tasty treats.
Kids DIY areas across New Zealand will come alive with decorations from Bunnings’ Halloween range, creating a festive atmosphere for kids and parents to enjoy. Children can dive into Halloween-inspired crafts like making Jack ‘o’ lanterns or decorating masks and keyrings, face-painting and themed games. Bunnings team members will be dressed to impress in playful Halloween costumes, and plenty of food will keep everyone energised throughout the evening.
With the growing popularity of Halloween in Aotearoa, Bunnings is proud to offer a welcoming space for parents and kids to celebrate together.
“Bunnings has always been about community, and our Halloween Family Night is a great way to bring people together in a fun, safe environment,” says Melissa Haines, Bunnings NZ General Manager.
The Halloween Family Night has seen remarkable year-on-year growth, starting with 1,100 attendees across 8 stores in 2023, surpassing over 4,850 attendees across 41 stores in 2024.
This year, with all stores participating, Bunnings is set to make Halloween bigger and better than ever.
