Blast Off! Make a Bottle Rocket

FREE these school holidays!

Join us outside Space Place to make a bottle rocket, then send it soaring!

Space Place is excited to celebrate Space Week with a FREE rocket activity for all whānau these school holidays. We’ll be sending water rockets and pump rockets into the atmosphere.

Head inside Space Place to build and decorate your rocket at the craft table, then take it to the grass outside to the launch pad and drop zone.

We will have some bottles on-hand, but feel free to bring your own empty 1.5L softdrink bottles.

No bookings required, donations appreciated.

Weather dependent, with Sunday 5th October as a wet-weather backup.
