Surrounded by native ferns and offering stunning views of the Whakarewarewa Forest and Puarenga Stream, these private hot tubs provide the ultimate relaxation experience. Each hot tub can accommodate up to six people, making it the ideal choice for family or group visits. Guests can enjoy 45 minutes of soothing soaking time, a perfect way to unwind.

Drinks are available at the push of a button, ensuring a seamless and indulgent experience. For even more fun, visitors can enjoy or gather around the campfires.

Hot tub prices start at $45 per adult, with children aged 5-14 able to join for just $17 per child (must be accompanied by a paying adult). Special discounts are available for local residents and SuperGold cardholders.

Rotorua Hot Springs

Unlike traditional hot springs, Rotorua hot springs at Secret Spot provide a unique forest bathing experience. Surrounded by nature’s splendour, you can relax in your cedar tub while marvelling at the beauty of the natural world. The experience with family or friends, or simply taking a moment for yourself, it’s the perfect way to recharge.

Take advantage of additional amenities, such as cold cedar plunge pools, a complimentary Shinny Dip foot tub, and convenient lockers for your personal belongings. 

Sauna Corner

Secret Spot Hot Tubs is excited to offer ‘Sauna Corner’ as our new customer wellness experience, presently consisting of 2 saunas. Refresh in a private stone-heated sauna, with views over magically lit ponds and water features. Designed for up to four people in your group, these traditional saunas are made with fragrant Japanese hinoki wood and use volcanic rocks from Finland. Our two nearby cedar cold plunge tubs allow you to embrace the benefits of contrast therapy, creating an invigorating experience.

Your private sauna experience will include a 40-minute sauna, as well as complimentary cold plunge tubs, chilled drinking water and access to our Shinny Dip foot hot tubs. Towels, swimwear, and robes are all available for hire at reception.
