Located at 239a Opawa Road in Hillsborough, Jurassic Adventure Christchurch has grown into New Zealand’s number one dinosaur attraction. Alongside mini golf, families can explore the Dino Dig, a hands-on excavation experience where children become young paleontologists for an hour. Using provided tools, they uncover an entire dinosaur fossil and discover which species they’ve excavated. Spaces for the Dino Dig are limited, so booking in advance is recommended.

For those seeking more active adventures, the Raptor Run maze challenges visitors to find five hidden raptors within a fully themed maze. The course includes bridges, a swing bridge, a poachers’ camp, and a raptor nesting area. Entry allows multiple runs around the maze, giving families plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the adventure together.

Other attractions at Jurassic Adventure Christchurch include the T-Rex Ride, a ride-on dinosaur experience suitable for all ages, and Jurassic Jeeps, where visitors can race petrol-powered mini jeeps along a jungle track, feeling the thrill of trying to outrun a T-Rex.

Dinosaur enthusiasts can also enjoy Dinosaur Laser Tag, where players take part in an interactive battle within the Raptor Run maze. Teams protect or hunt virtual dinosaurs using safe laser tag equipment in a 45-minute session that brings action and strategy to the prehistoric setting.
