DESCRIPTION:Pack up the kids and head to Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens on Easter Sunday for their Easter Egg Hunt event. This is a popular event so book your tickets in advance. \nChildren hunt for coloured tokens along the trail\, and swap these for real eggs when you meet the easter bunny. \nIf you want to come along in your bunny suit or other seasonal dress you won’t be alone! \nApart from the kids playground areas\, picnic and Petanque areas you will also be able to stroll around the beautiful 1Km sculpture trail which has over 40 marvellous new sculptures created for our 2022 exhibition by local and international artists on display. \nThere is also now an additional 2.5km nature trail which meanders around farmland and native forest\, has a beautiful new lookout point of the Kaipara Harbour and forms an important part of the Kaipara Coast Plant Centre conservation and restoration program.* \nThey also have their cute little coffee shop on site which will be running a BBQ throughout the day. \nKaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens are only a few minutes’ drive North of Kaukapakapa (and around 35 minutes from downtown Auckland). \nAll relevant Covid safety processes will be in place. \n*Trail not suitable for wheelchairs or walking frames.

DESCRIPTION:Our ‘Out in the Pool Party’ sessions are regular monthly sessions for all queer\, transgender\, gender diverse and non-binary folks. These sessions are held on the first Sunday of every month from 6pm-8pm. \nWe invite the LGBTQI+ community and allies to dive in and swim in a safe and welcoming environment at Keith Spry Pool. \nOut in the Pool evenings at Keith Spry will have: \n• Gender neutral changing rooms and bathrooms\, as well as our Men’s and Women’s changing facilities. \n• Recreation lanes with inflatables\, as well as the Dive board open. \n• Lane space will be available to swim some lengths or aqua jog\, and the teaching pool will be open. \n• SwimWell instructors will be available for swimming tips and coaching \n• Spa and Sauna available \n• Music\, swimming and good vibes only. \nThere is no need to register\, simply come along on the night. \nThere is no additional cost for these sessions\, just pay our regular pool entry fees on arrival.

You’ll have a safety briefing before you try out your gear in the shallows and explore the water together for about 30 minutes.
