SUMMARY:Local Geothermal Week @ Craters of the Moon
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate Geothermal Week 10-16th August\, we are offering FREE entry for Taupo residents to our Craters of the Moon Geothermal Walk. \nDaily 10am bird feeding and 1pm guided walk with a local Ecologist (Monday – Friday only) to explore what makes Craters of the Moon unique\, nationally significant and special to the Taupo District. \nSOLD OUT! Our geothermal themed\, free kids’ fun zone in partnership with Kids Greening Taupo will be on Saturday & Sunday 15 & 16th August from 10.00am-12.00pm. There will be colouring in competitions\, bouncy castle\, craft workshops\, scavenger hunt\, fun games\, face painting\, raffle and a sausage sizzle\, sponsored by the Warehouse.
