DESCRIPTION:Rotorua locals are set to celebrate the festive season with the 2023 Rotorua Christmas Parade. \nBased in and around the iconic Government Gardens\, it is a perfect morning outing for all the whanau.  Starting at 10am\, it means it’s not too hot for the younger ones.  So we can all enjoy the sights and sounds of the parade\, finished off with seeing Santa himself.  And then there is time to head into the CBD for a touch of shopping and maybe a bite to eat to discuss your favourite floats. \nThe Rotorua Christmas Parade is an event for the community\, by the community.  All local groups\, education establishments and businesses are encouraged to enter a float and start their planning now. \nInterested groups can register floats or contact organisers through the official website rotoruachristmas.co.nz or via the official event Facebook page. \nThe Rotorua Christmas Parade is organised each year under the guardianship of Rotary Club of Rotorua Passport.
