Toddler classes – under 2 years
This is a safe, fun place for under 2s to increase their early skills in climbing, balancing, jumping, hanging and rolling etc. Your toddler will be introduced to tunnels, ladders, hoops, slides, low balance beams, soft foam stairs, small bars and wedges.
Kindy classes – 2-4 years
Where children and their parents learn together through active play and gain confidence in a fun, progressive environment. We pride ourselves on running a program that highlights healthy movement and fun. Our classes are designed to develop each child’s motor skills, which are a prerequisite for reading and writing, through exploring dominant movement patterns and providing physical challenges in a music-based, fun-filled session for 2 to 4 year olds. Each class consists of a game/warm up and a comprehensive circuit which changes weekly. At the end of the session, your child will meet on the mat to sing a goodbye song and receive a stamp celebrating their great gym.
Beginner classes – 4-6 years
This class is for children aged 4-6 years who are beginners in sport or need to gain some confidence in a sporting environment. Your child will develop the fundamental movement patterns which are important for gymnastics and any other sports that your child might take up in the future. After working intensively on activities that build these patterns for the first 6 weeks of term, your child will move into gymnastics-based activities for the remainder of the term.
Recreational Artistic Classes – 5+ years
Children aged 5 to 16 years will learn and develop the key dominant movement patterns of landing, locomotion, springing, rotating, swinging and balancing. These patterns are the foundation for all sports and are a great way to compliment any other sports your child does. Progression and fun are some of the key elements in this programme and there are events at which ribbons, certificates and badges can be earned as your child progresses.
